Our Restaurant

In Zanzibar we love seafood – and our restaurant reflects this. Our fish is freshly caught every morning, and comes to us from the local fish market or direct from local fishermen. We like to prepare it for you in traditional Swahili style, and serve it in the open air. If we have more than 30 guests, there is a beach barbecue, too. Don’t worry if you’re not keen on fish. There are plenty of meat and vegetarian options on our menu. Chakula kizuri sana... the food is very nice. We also have an open air bar set in front of the beach with a spectacular view of the reef and dhows as they sail by from morning to sunset. It’s a great place to relax in a hammock while enjoying a cocktail or you could make new friends in our lounge area which has relaxing music and comfortable sofas and armchairs. Our fully stocked bar offers a variety of cold beers, selected wines, delicious cocktails and tropical juices. You can also borrow a selection of board games such as bao, the traditional game of Zanzibar. Don't leave Zanzibar without having tried a game or two! Other options are to play darts or watch sports on our satellite television.
