Mahaba "Honeymoon" Cottage

Mahaba Cottage is our romantic honeymoon accommodation, located in a private part of the hotel with its own garden and access to the beach. 'Mahaba' means romance and this cottage is definitely romantic, decorated in the local style with wooden floors and walls lined with traditional woven palm fronds.

The ten rooms of Zanzibar house offer superb accommodation, with a little bit extra. All rooms have high-standard en-suite bathrooms. The room size is twenty-five square meters; they are fully air conditioned, with telephone, fridges and a tea/coffee station for your convenience.

Standard rooms

Standard rooms

We have 12 standard cottages. They are simple, but nevertheless private and comfortable. They are decorated in local Zanzibarian style and have an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water and veranda. 8 are facing the sea and 4 are inside the gardens.

Family cottages

Family cottages

We have four “family cottages” that are more spacious than the standard rooms. They are perfect for couples who need space or families. They are en-suite with hot and cold water and two of them have an adjoining door for extended families or groups.

Fisherman house self-contained appartments

Fisherman House is our first self-contained accommodation. It is located in our garden view area, at only 60 metres from the beach. Fisherman House was built with the idea of creating comfortable accommodation for our guests who travel with a big family or in a large group – for example a wedding party.
